Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication is required for all Domain accounts. Set it up from any smartphone using the Microsoft Authenticator app.
First-time setup
- Download Microsoft Authenticator on your smartphone from the App Store or Google Play.
- On your computer, open a browser and go to aka.ms/mfasetup.
- Sign in with your Domain email address.
- Click Add method and select Authenticator app.
- Click Next and open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.
- Tap the + icon in the app and select Work or school account.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen.
- Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app to verify. Click Next.
- MFA is active. You will be prompted on your phone each time you sign in.
Tip Getting a new phone? Set up MFA on the new device before deactivating the old one. If you have already switched phones, contact IT Support to reset your MFA enrollment. |
